How we test
Hardware is benchmarked on a fixed test bench with published settings, three runs per workload, and median results. Games are reviewed after finishing the main campaign or a minimum of 20 hours for open-ended titles.
Scoring
Scores run from 0 to 10 in tenths. A 7 is a solid recommendation with caveats; an 9 or above means class-leading. Scores are set by the reviewer and one editor, and are never shared with manufacturers before publication.
Review units and travel
Loaned hardware is returned or bought at market price. We do not accept paid travel, gifts above nominal value, or embargo terms that require positive coverage.
